Page 2 of 3 I leave my house and it's raining consistently and at medium level. All the while I'm thinking that my rain suit would be giving up about 10 miles out from work in this particular rain. With that in mind, I soldier on ahead. As I'm riding I look down and I notice that the water is beading up nicely everywhere it hits like rain on a freshly waxed car so I'm already getting the warm fuzzies. I can feel the suit getting that “wet on the outside” feeling but I still felt nice and dry inside. I get to the point where my rain suit would have given up and find that I'm still dry. So far it's definitely living up to the hype. When I arrive at work I inspect the suit and water was still beading up. Now that I'm completely impressed I take off the suit to assess any leakage. The only places I had found I had gotten a little wet was the bottom 2 inches of my pant legs where they had fallen out from under the suit a little bit and water wicked up the leg and around the collar a little. The collar has an adjustable button and I had left it at it's widest point so I moved it in a notch and waited for the ride home. We ended up leaving work very early (Only there for 3 hours) due to the day after new year's no one was in the office. I found the outside of the suit still hadn't dried out so I figured this would be a great test for it. Any other suit would give way almost immediately since it didn't get completely dry. The rain was still coming down the way it was in the morning and with the collar adjustment I felt it would be a great further test. Long story short, the pant legs got wet again but the collar of my shirt stayed dry. I have to say that while this suit is pricey at the asking $1100 clams, it seems to me to be 100% worth it. Even with the January 1 price increase to $1300 I can say it's worth it for any serious rider that uses their machine regardless of the weather. I have since been in 2 other rains with this suit that while they weren't as strong as the first had the same results. I believe the day might have finally come that the "one stop" solution has finally arrived. The suit is fitting slightly better than it was as I break it in and my pounds start to shed off. With that in mind I might ad a follow up note or 2 to this article when I get back down to lower weight and the suit conforms to fit me better. I'll also add photos when I have the opportunity to take them. AAAAAAAAnd there is a 3rd page now.....
